About
An independent guide to a very small aquarium
Drawquarium Guide is a fan-run editorial site about Drawquarium, the Windows aquarium sandbox by byKaleb and rokaplay. It is not the official site, and it is not affiliated with the developer or publisher.
Why this site exists
Drawquarium is the kind of game that generates very specific questions: Can I import my kid’s drawing? Do the fish die if I forget to feed them? Will my demo tank survive the full release? Does Wallpaper Mode work on a laptop? Most of those questions do not have official answers yet, and search results are already filling the gap with confident guesses.
This site exists to do the opposite. We collect what the developer, the Steam store and dated press coverage actually say. We label the rest as a demo observation, a press report or an open question. When the game is released, we replace uncertainty with tested answers.
Independence and funding
The site is reader-supported. It has no sponsored coverage, no paid placements and no affiliate links to the game at the time of writing. Display advertising may be added later to cover hosting; if that happens, ads will be clearly separated from editorial content and will not determine what we recommend.
We do not accept payment for a positive review, a ranking or a “best game” placement. There are no review scores on this site because the game is not out and we have not reviewed it.
How the site is made
Research starts with primary sources: the Steam store record and the developer’s Steam announcements. We then use dated press coverage for hands-on impressions, and the official screenshots for interface details. Community posts are used to find questions, not to prove mechanics.
Drafting and editing use a combination of research tools and AI assistance. That is not a shortcut around accuracy: every factual claim is mapped to a source on the page, and claims that cannot be sourced are labelled as unconfirmed. The editorial policy explains the labels in detail.
Corrections
If you find an error, email hello@drawquariumguide.wiki with the page URL and the source that contradicts us. Corrections are made in the page and, where the change is substantive, noted in the page’s update date. We do not quietly rewrite a claim and pretend it was always there.
